tour de lumière is a sustainable award trophy design designed and produced by superset design for lotte, one of south korea’s leading companies.
lotte corporation holds an annual award to recognize outstanding social and environmental achievements, and superset design designed and produced this trophy as the key visual object for the award. the trophy has received the red dot design award, if design award, and good design award in the united states.




tour de lumière was designed by reinterpreting lotte group’s brand heritage and the architectural motifs of lotte world tower. the title of the award, placed at the lower part of the trophy, rises along the silhouette of lotte world tower and meets the lotte group logo at the top. through this movement, a distinctive light-reflecting pattern is created across the surface.

the trophy was produced using recycled aluminum cans from chilsung cider, one of lotte’s representative beverages. this use of recycled material symbolizes lotte group’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
