foresys, an eco-tech startup that collects and recycles marine waste requested a sculpture made from recycled concrete sourced from their collected waste, to mark the establishment of their recycling plant.

net to nature take from the shape of discarded nets, a primary raw material of startup's recycling resource, to embody the organic curves of ocean resources.

using the features of symmetrical design, this piece can be endlessly connected and used in many ways. vertically, it can form tall, tower-like structures, while horizontally, it can extend to serve as a breakwater or be used as public benches.

symmetrical, repetitive structures were made as prototypes. such ideas were proposed for breakwater, bench and sculpture.

We built the prototype using the same layering method as real concrete 3D printing, which allowed us to design the final form that could be layered.

the sculpture is made through recycling marine wastes, excellently demonstrating the startup's eco-technology and creative problem-solving abilities in protecting the environment.
